Laboratory Assistant

The Bisserier Laboratory at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY is seeking a Full-time Laboratory Assistant with a Master's degree in Life Sciences or a related field. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly and multitask.

Requirements

• Assist the principal investigator with experimental design, execution, data collection, and interpretation
• Assist with laboratory staff training and oversee students performing procedures and experiments
• Maintain laboratory records and inventory for long-term sample storage
• Responsible for ordering supplies and day-to-day lab budgeting
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety guidelines
