The Program Manager, Academics is a full-time position coordinating most aspects of academic administration for NYU Berlin. This position, located at NYU Berlin, reports to the Site Director of NYU Berlin and the Assistant Vice President for Academics in the Office of Global Programs to assist their respective duties of supporting lecturers, academic site staff, and a diverse group of NYU students from all three degree-granting campuses.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a university degree
- Minimum of four years’ experience in university of study abroad academic administration
- Bilingual German/English
- Strong familiarity with German and US higher education
- Understanding and empathy with the needs and expectations of international students
- Excellent attention to detail, flexibility, problem-solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral skills with experience of addressing public audiences
- Ability to manage workloads, deadlines, and responsibilities with limited supervision
- Ability to gather and report information accurately, clearly and concisely
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others in support of the organization's mission
- Proficiency in standard office and office productivity software, CMS skills, and familiarization with AI
- Ability to exercise good judgement and to handle sensitive information in a discreet, professional manner
