Senior / Lead Power Electronics Engineer

At NewOrbit Space, we are seeking an experienced Senior Power Electronics Engineer to help us design, build and test power systems for satellites. The role involves leading the development efforts and taking ownership of the full development cycle of power electronics.

Requirements

• Design and prototype advanced power electronics circuits and PCB layouts.
• Develop DC-DC and DC-AC converters, power conditioners, and other power supplies for inductively coupled plasma sources.
• Conduct modelling, control design, and stability analysis for power electronic converters.
• Test and validate power converters against simulations, considering EMI/EMC, reliability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate power electronics into various satellite subsystems.
