Job Description
Nextern is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the financial health of the organization, ensure compliance with accounting principles, and drive process improvements. The role involves leading a team, mentoring staff, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance financial reporting accuracy. Reporting to the Global Controller, the Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the accounting department's operations and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Requirements
- Manage the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
