SPFHS-2025-22 State Park Police Officer

This position is for a State Park Police Officer in New Jersey State Parks, Forests and Historic Sites. Responsibilities include enforcing laws, performing duties as a sworn officer, providing security services, and educating the public about environmental resources. The position requires a valid driver's license and completion of required training and certifications.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or vocational school, or possession of an approved high school equivalency certificate.
• Citizen of the United States of America.
• 18 years of age or older at the announced closing date.
• Successful completion of Basic Police Training Course and PTC certificate.
• CPR/AED certification and ability to use State Parks vehicles.
• Must be able to maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must be approved to work in the US and possess a legal authority to work in the country.
• Must be able to pass a medical and psychological examination.
