Production Manager (Wafer Fab)

We're seeking a Wafer Fab Manager to lead day & night shift manufacturing teams to achieve nLIGHT's Wafer Fabrication Production goals, while maintaining/improving standards for safety, quality and productivity.

Requirements

• Drive execution through active management of Supervisors, Leads, Technicians and Specialists to meet company deliverables
• Ensure a safe work environment for all employees; reinforce safety culture, support incident investigations, and lead by example
• Responsible for employee performance management; motivate and facilitate continuous learning and development, conduct annual performance appraisals, and provide timely feedback and recognition
• Monitor and approve employee time and attendance records in compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
• Manage training programs and lead team development to achieve output goals
• Lead and report out in manufacturing metric and finance budget reviews
• Identify staffing needs and assist with hiring and capacity planning
• Lead LEAN, 5-S, Value Stream Mapping, and Continuous improvement activities
• Meet quality and delivery deadlines for production and interact with R&D team & applications team to increase process efficiency and product yield
