Asset Servicing Associate

Nomura is seeking an Asset Servicing Associate to join its Operations team in New York. The role involves handling and processing time-sensitive corporate action events, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and creating metrics and reports. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in financial asset services, proficiency in DTC and US market corporate action events, and a firm understanding of securities lending, repo, and settlement areas.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of work experience within financial Asset Services area
• Understanding of Equity, Fixed Income, Delta 1, SWAP and Prime Broker accounts
• Experience in processing Corporate Actions, Reorg, Dividends and PNI
• Proficient in DTC and US market Corporate Action events
• Firm understanding of Securities lending, Repo and Settlement areas
• Motivated, diligent learner that is able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS office and ability to quickly learn internal & industry applications
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
