Requirements

• Operates and monitors performance of heavy construction type equipment
• Performs routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
• Monitors certain process operations
• Responsible for housekeeping in assigned units
• Responsible for evaluating quality of work performed by subordinate employees
• Cooperates with other departments to ensure work is done efficiently and correctly
• Observes safe work practices
• Responsible for ensuring subordinate employees observe safe work practices
• Oversees work crew on daily basis
• Hauls heavy and oversized equipment to various job sites
• Participates in a rotational "ONCALL" work status to respond to NTMWD repairs outside of normal business hours and works overtime as needed
