Postdoctoral Research Associate

A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the Saavedra lab in the Department of Biology at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. The lab is interested in understanding mechanisms driving innate immune responses during host-pathogen interactions, and how commensal microbes shape host immunity in health and disease.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in immunology, microbiology, cell biology or related areas
• Experience with in vivo animal models or multi-color flow cytometry are preferred
• At least one first-author publication in a peer-reviewed journal
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills with strong attention to detail
• Proactive, and able to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic, diverse, and growing team
