Job Description
Respiratory Therapists at Northern Arizona Healthcare: We have a robust Adult Vent Protocol (AVP) we run the vents, using the AVP tool we decide Mode, setting’s, weaning and in conjunction with Team ( MD, RN, RT) decide extubation readiness. Work in all areas: ED/Trauma, CVICU, MICU, TICU, PICU, SCN, Peds and Med/Surg Tele...not restricted to a specialty (this includes New Grad’s after thorough orientation).
Requirements
- Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advance Life Support, Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Education: Associates Degree from an AMA approved school of Respiratory Therapy (Preferred) or an AMA Respiratory Therapy Program (Required)
- Experience: 1 year of experience (Preferred) or 3 years of acute care experience (Required)
