Mid-Level On-Site Java Software Engineer

Northstrat is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Software Engineer to join their team. The role involves supporting the development of scalable applications using Java, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and leveraging modern technologies. The position emphasizes performance analysis and maintenance.

Requirements

• Must have an active Top Secret US government clearance.
• Must have US citizenship.
• Must have at least a HS diploma or GED or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience with 2+ years of experience in Java
• Must have at 1+ experience in working with microservices and containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Framework or Spring Boot
• Experience with API development, including REST architectural style
• Experience with Linux OS and Command Line Interface
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 certification within 6 months of start date
• Ability to work full time on-site
