Controllership Senior Specialist

Nu is seeking a Controllership Senior Specialist to analyze financial products, coordinate Roadmaps, and manage cross-functional initiatives to ensure accurate accounting and reporting. This role involves collaboration with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to build accounting systems and improve processes. The position requires strong analytical and technical accounting knowledge, experience in financial institutions, and proficiency in using data tools like SQL, Scala, or Python.

Requirements

• Analyze and understand financial products and regulations.
• Coordinate and align Roadmaps for Controllership and Products.
• Analyze financial data and impact on accounting, taxes, and cash flows.
• Research technical accounting standards (IFRS & BACEN-GAAP).
• Manage cross-functional initiatives and improve processes.
• Produce documentation of accounting and regulatory reporting.
• Proactively tackle complex problems.
• Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
• Previous experience with financial instruments accounting is highly desirable.
