Staff Software Engineer

NuBank is a leading digital banking platform seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Engineering team. The team focuses on building and using the technology that delivers financial products. The engineer will focus on software development, with a preference for Clojure and a willingness to learn from the team. The role involves working on scalable microservices, Kafka communication, and monitoring systems in a process-light organizational structure.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience developing digital products
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale systems
• Strong background in object-oriented or functional programming languages
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives
• Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies
• Good communication skills
• Advanced English skills
