Staff Software Engineer

Nubank is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to contribute to the development of financial products and technology. The role focuses on building and scaling microservices, utilizing both Clojure and Finagle, and leveraging AWS and Kubernetes. They prioritize process-light work with small, independent teams and value technical excellence.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience developing digital products in complex environments
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale systems that serve thousands (or even millions) of users
• Strong background in object-oriented or functional programming languages
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives across multiple teams
• Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies and previous experience with CI/CD
• Good communication skills
• Advanced English skills
