Job Description
The Cardiac Monitor Technician assists nurses and other clinical staff in monitoring patients for cardiac rhythm changes. This role involves continuous monitoring of heart rhythms, identifying and reporting arrhythmias, documenting rhythm interpretation, and communicating changes to the healthcare team. Accurate documentation and equipment maintenance are also key responsibilities.
Requirements
- Continuously observes and analyzes cardiac rhythms on telemetry monitors.
- Documents rhythm interpretations accurately and updates patient records.
- Troubleshoots telemetry equipment.
