This role involves administering occupational therapy based on physician orders and plan of care, with direct supervision and collaboration with physicians and clinical staff. The position requires ongoing evaluation and communication with the physician regarding patient progress.

Requirements

• Administers occupational therapy.
• Returns patients to optimal living.
• Provides prescribed occupational therapy.
• Directs and supervises personnel.
• Performs skilled procedures.
• Consults with physicians.
• Instructs patients/family on programs.
• Initial evaluation.
• Recertification every 60 days.
• Progress note writing.
• Progress report writing.
• Reevaluation when treatment is complete.
