Job Description
Nuvei, a Canadian fintech company, is seeking a Credit Underwriting Analyst to review new application and partner eligibility. The role involves ensuring KYC compliance, interpreting card networks, communicating with sales teams and business partners, and participating in fraud monitoring and risk mitigation. They are dedicated to solving complex problems and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Complete review of client and partner applications, ensuring department SLA’s are met.
- Ensure Know Your Customer (KYC) and related regulatory requirements are adhered to during the underwriting process.
- Correctly interprets and applies card brand network rules so that only eligible merchant businesses are provided with a processing account.
- Communicate decisions and data needs with sales teams and business partners.
- Monitor fraud alerts and investigate high-risk transactions to determine fraud.
- Maintain an understanding of relevant rules and regulations affecting the payments industry, including VISA, Mastercard, Auspaynet, AUSTRAC
- Implement and adjust fraud detection rules, processes and systems to improve detection 2
