Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Specialist (A/R Specialist) at OakBend Medical Center is responsible for managing a portion of their Accounts Receivable accounts, including third party payers and government payers. This role involves accurate collection, processing, and resolution of accounts to contribute to excellent patient care and maximize reimbursement. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years’ work experience in an administrative setting
- Typing speed of 35 words per minute
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Collection laws knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Experience handling extensive phone calls
