Job Description
This Part-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse position at Wharton Campus is for a Registered Nurse under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. The role involves providing direct patient care in Critical Care, performing Point of Care laboratory testing, and assisting with patient care following established procedures. Candidates must have current Texas licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse and be certified in Basic Life Support.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited licensed vocational nursing program.
- One year clinical nursing or related experience preferred.
- Current licensure in Texas as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Current licensure in Texas as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Current licensure in Texas as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of employment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer proficiency.
