Job Description
The Licensed Vocational Nurse at the Wharton Campus is responsible for providing professional nursing care and assisting patients in a Critical Care setting. This role involves direct patient care, Point of Care laboratory testing, and project an image of level-headedness and continuous professional growth. They are working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and strive to enhance patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited licensed vocational nursing program
- One year clinical nursing experience (preferred)
- Current Texas Licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- EKG competency assessment test completion
