Home Infusion (Pharmacy Technician 2) - Relief

This Relief/Flex position provides technical support to pharmacists through computer order entry, patient care coordination, and inventory management. Home infusion technicians ensure accountability and accuracy of standard pharmacy operations. They work under direct supervision of a Pharmacist in a Home Infusion Pharmacy setting.

Requirements

• Completion of high school degree
• 1 year of pharmacy work experience, or equivalent additional education
• Ability to read and understand medical-related terms
• Ability to perform basic pharmaceutical mathematics calculations
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of commonly used computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to establish priorities in workflow
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work under supervision of diverse Pharmacists
• Licensed by the State of Oregon Board of Pharmacy
• Certification from the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or National Healthcareer Association
