The University of Oregon is seeking a full-time psychiatrist for a Psychiatric Emergency Service (PES) role within the University of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Brain Institute. This role focuses on providing clinical treatment to patients in the crisis, offering 100+ beds, and training the next generation of psychiatrists in the field. The position also offers research and teaching opportunities. It is a collaborative team offering training and opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
- Experience and/or fellowship training in forensic psychiatry, addiction medicine, or public psychiatry
- Strong teaching and mentoring abilities
- Demonstrated interest in academic psychiatry and research
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
