Psychiatrist

The Psychiatric Emergency Service (PES) is seeking a Physician to join the Psychiatric Emergency Services team at the Unity Behavioral Health Center within OHSU. This role focuses on providing mental health care to patients in a crisis setting, including providing assessments, diagnoses, treatment, and potentially providing mentoring to future providers. The position offers a collaborative environment with integrated clinical, teaching, and research opportunities.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
• Experience in forensic psychiatry, addiction medicine, or public psychiatry is welcome
• Strong teaching and mentoring abilities
• Demonstrated interest in academic psychiatry and research
