Requirements

• Perform psychiatric diagnostic assessments for referred patients
• Prescribe medications and provide medication management
• Assess, plan, document and evaluate patient needs and treatment
• Provide consultation for primary care providers regarding patient treatment
• Provide intervention and referral for patients when appropriate
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention and advocacy to all patients and their families
• Provide psycho education around issues such as high-risk behavior, mental health, addictions, and domestic violence
