Job Description
Girl Scouts of NE Kansas & NW Missouri is seeking Part-Time Camp Staff members to serve and support Girl Scout campers at Camp Prairie Schooner in Kansas City, MO, and Camp Tongawood in Tonganoxie, KS. Camp Staff will lead and encourage young girls in friendship, creativity, and adventure.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with youth in a recreational/educational setting
- Knowledge of basic practices of youth development, day camp programs, and activities for girls ages 6-17
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to teach campers, problem-solving and exercise independent judgment
