Job Description
DP World is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Sustainability Manager to lead their sustainability initiatives and drive responsible practices across the organization. This role focuses on compliance, strategy, and fostering a culture of sustainability, ensuring ESG parameters are met and aligning with environmental regulations. The role involves stakeholder engagement, program development, and risk management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Professional certifications in ESG, Sustainability Reporting, or Environmental Management
- 8+ years of relevant experience in sustainability, ESG, or environmental/social governance programs
- Proven track record of developing and executing sustainability strategies
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, community initiatives, and cross-functional projects
- Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks and reporting practices
- Experience with sustainability scorecards and data tracking
- Fluency in English (spoken and written), Arabic language skills a plus
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
