Job Description
The Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting operations for multiple client accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to GAAP. The role requires strong leadership, technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller role.
- Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses, ideally within a multi-client or outsourced CFO/controller firm.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- Proficiency with accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Xero, or similar.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with cloud-based finance tools.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships with professionalism and care.
