Job Description
This internship offers a hands-on experience evaluating the electrical behavior of early-generation Silicon Carbide (SiC) devices at onsemi, a leading semiconductor company. Interns will operate manual and automated test procedures, analyze results, and present findings to the design team. The role focuses on testing advanced power systems and expanding knowledge of power electronics and semiconductor physics.
Requirements
- Perform hands-on testing of semiconductor devices—primarily SiC—in a laboratory environment.
- Conduct static measurements (e.g., Vth, RDS(on), Vf) using power device curve tracers.
- Execute dynamic and ruggedness tests to evaluate switching behavior and reliability.
