Job Description
Onsemi is seeking an intern to join their characterization team. The intern will evaluate the electrical behavior of early-generation Silicon Carbide (SiC) device samples, perform testing procedures on package levels, and analyze test results. The role involves collaborating with the design team and expanding knowledge in power electronics and semiconductor physics.
Requirements
- Perform hands-on testing of semiconductor devices—primarily SiC—in a laboratory environment.
- Conduct static measurements (e.g., Vth, RDS(on), Vf) using power device curve tracers.
- Execute dynamic and ruggedness tests to evaluate switching behavior and reliability.
