Applications Engineer II

As an Applications Engineer II, you will design, implement, and optimize software solutions tailored to client requirements, with a focus on analyzing customer needs, configuring software systems, and providing technical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or related fields
• 2-3 years relevant work experience
• Proficiency in computer programming; C and/or Python preferred
• Knowledge of SCADA and/or OT systems
• Strong analytical, independent problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites
• Ability to work independently, effectively manage time, and prioritize strategically
• Experience in technical writing
• Knowledgeable about electric power generation, transmission, and distribution
• Expertise in any of the following areas: electric utility operations, control systems, automation, client/server applications, APIs, web services, network communications, operating systems, algorithms, SQL and other database technologies
• Familiar using Git for software development
