Job Description
Key areas of responsibility include transfer of properties, preparing files accurately, administering and organizing the conveyancing legal practice of the director, effective stakeholder communication, drafting documents, attending to lodgments and registrations, and FICA administration.
Requirements
- Matric essential
- Legal conveyancing secretary/paralegal qualification advantageous
- 6 + years experience as a conveyancing secretary
- Microsoft Office Suite programmes, more specifically MS Word
- Experience on Investec, Nedbank and Standard Bank bonds
- In-depth knowledge of conveyancing software/systems such as: Lexis Convey, Lotus Notes, E4 (Portal based), Webconvey and Windeed
- Basic knowledge on Aderant Expert (CMS) accounting system
