Oracle is seeking a Data Center Technician to support operations at significant scale. The role involves installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and cabling infrastructure. Skills in IT hardware concepts, troubleshooting, and communication are essential. The position offers 24/7 coverage and supports a rotating shift schedule.
Requirements
- Knowledge of server/storage/network hardware
- Strong interest in learning new DC concepts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience solving problems on servers, networking devices, and IT equipment
- Inventory management experience
- IT Hardware Concepts knowledge (RAID, SAN, SCIS, Linux/Unix, GRUB)
- Knowledge of trunk infrastructure (preferred)
- Experience with on-call shifts
- Experience raising issues to senior staff
