Senior Applied Scientist - Gen AI

Oracle Healthcare Data Intelligence is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to leverage data and AI to transform healthcare and life sciences. This role involves designing, building, and evaluating AI models for real healthcare problems, working with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to innovative solutions that enhance care delivery and improve healthcare systems. The position requires hands-on experience with LLMs and AI frameworks.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, NLP, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
• Experience training or fine-tuning LLMs
• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) tools
• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML in healthcare and/or bioinformatics
• Strong understanding of machine learning, NLP, and deep learning techniques
