Senior Member of Technical Staff

Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure team is building scalable, highly available cloud-based systems for their customers. They are seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to design and develop software for their cloud infrastructure, focusing on distributed systems and low-level systems. This role involves collaboration, agility, and a strong understanding of complex technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience shipping services software
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
• Strong understanding of Internet protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP)
• Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
