Senior Member of Technical Staff

Oracle is building services that operate at high scale in a distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment. They are seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to own software design and development for major Cloud Infrastructure components, focusing on building innovative systems from scratch. The role involves collaboration, agility, and a passion for solving complex technical problems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience shipping services software
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
• Knowledge of Internet protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
• Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
