Senior Member of Technical Staff

Oracle is building infrastructure services at scale for its customers. They are seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to own the software design and development for their Cloud Infrastructure. This role involves designing innovative systems, working collaboratively in an agile environment, and tackling complex problems with a focus on simplicity, scale, and user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience shipping services software
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
• Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
• Knowledge of Internet protocols and standards, including REST, SSL and HTTP
• Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
