Senior Member of Technical Staff

Oracle is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to join the Oracle Analytics Engineering team. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and delivering new features on the Oracle Analytics Cloud Service, working closely with product and technical leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong Java programming skills and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related major
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Self-motivated and passionate in developing high quality software
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Solid skills in Java software development
• Highly skilled in Linux/System knowledge/Infrastructure as a Service and Shell scripting
• Hands-on experience of one or more Public Cloud infrastructure (eg. Oracle, AWS, Azure)
• DevOps mindset to address real-time customer issues in production
• Strong fundamentals and hands-on experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
