Job Description
Oracle is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to join their Analytics engineering team, focusing on the development and delivery of Oracle Analytics Cloud Service. This role involves software development, design, automation, and collaboration with product management and technical leadership. The position requires strong skills in Java, Linux/System knowledge, and Agile methodologies.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related major
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Self-motivated and passionate in developing high quality software
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Solid skills in Java software development
- Highly skilled in Linux/System knowledge/Infrastructure as a Service and Shell scripting
- Hands-on experience of one or more Public Cloud infrastructure (eg. Oracle, AWS, Azure)
- Devops mindset to address real-time customer issues in production
- Strong fundamentals and hands-on experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
