Oracle is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Applications Platform team. This team focuses on building and operating scalable cloud services within a multi-tenant environment. The role involves designing, developing, and operating cloud services using Kubernetes and API Gateway, contributing to the Managed Kubernetes and Serverless offerings. The team emphasizes innovation, collaborative environments, and ownership of complex components.

Requirements

• 4-6+ years of experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available, distributed systems
• Excellent knowledge of GoLang or Java, Object Oriented Fundamentals, and experience with scripting languages such as Python
• Excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
• Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated ability to deliver quality code
• Experience working on multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure a strong plus
• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering
