Software Developer 3

Oracle is seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in distributed systems, cloud native technologies, and highly available services. The Applications Platform team builds and operates cloud services in a Kubernetes-focused environment. This role offers an opportunity to design and develop innovative systems, work on projects with major components of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure, and contribute to a rapidly growing team.

Requirements

• 4-6+ years of experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available, distributed systems.
• Excellent knowledge of GoLang or Java, Object Oriented Fundamentals, and scripting languages such as Python.
• Excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated ability to deliver quality code
• Experience working on multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure a strong plus.
• Strong analytical skills and willingness to look at alternate paths to a solution.
• Experience designing and driving technical solutions and mentoring engineers
