The Cook is a member of a team that provides supports to vulnerable seniors at Pacifica Senior's Lodge. The successful individual will contribute to the successful and efficient operation of the quality of food, maintaining health and safety standards in the kitchen and promoting positive communication with residents and team members.
Requirements
- High school graduation
- Some formal culinary school training
- FoodSafe certified
- At least one year experience as a cook, experience with large quantity menu planning, food preparation and presentation.
- Exceptional customer-service skills and effective in both verbal and written communication.
- Proven ability to work under pressure during periods of high volume.
- WHIMS Certification is required.
