Job Description
This role focuses on supporting the daily operations of the employee and labor relations function. The specialist assists with employee relations issues, investigates cases, administers labor agreements, and ensures compliance with employment laws. Collaboration with HR Partners and Union meetings are also critical components of the job.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Relations, HR or equivalent experience
- 2 or more years performing employee relations work in a predominately non-exempt workforce or a combination thereof of interviewing and investigations
- Knowledge of basic employment laws and standards
- Certification: Not Applicable
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
