Mechanical Engineer

Panelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented experienced Mechanical Engineer to create/review models and BOM's for power distribution equipment including Metal-Clad Switchgear, Metal-Eclosed Switchgear and Panelboards.

Requirements

• Review electrical diagrams and requirements from electrical engineering
• Convert electrical drawings into a mechanical package including elevations, section views and bill of material
• Provide electrical engineering with mechanical components of drawing package
• Release bill of material for purchasing and fabrication
• Receive new product designs, product modifications and implement the new designs/changes into production engineering systems
• Provide support to manufacturing regarding project questions and issues
• Interact with electrical engineering, and project management as required
• Communicate job status, including possible issues, with supervisor
