Security Officer

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Safety & Security Officer to protect people, property, information, and the reputation of their Park Nicollet Health Services team. This role requires a proactive approach, problem-solving skills, and the ability to de-escalate situations. The position will be critical in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This position will involve responding to emergency support calls and performing routine public service tasks.

Requirements

• FBI/BCA background check required upon hire
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent in Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice or in degree program
• 2 or 4-year degree in Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice or current degree program
• 2 or 4-year degree in Healthcare Security
• 2 or 4-year degree in Public Safety
• 2 or 4-year degree in Law Enforcement or Public Safety experience
• Active Driver's License
• Minimum 1 or 2-year experience in healthcare security
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
