Engineering Manager, Application Pod

Parspec is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its engineering excellence initiative, building a high-performing team and driving technical innovation, architectural excellence, and delivery accountability. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in an engineering management or technical leadership role, and proficiency in various programming languages, including Go, Python, and JavaScript.

Requirements

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, driving technical excellence, accountability, and growth
• Hire and onboard high-performing engineers
• Establish and uphold engineering best practices across code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and system architecture
• Own sprint planning, sprint commitments, and delivery accountability
• Set, track, and deliver quarterly engineering goals aligned with product and business priorities
• Make architectural and technical decisions ensuring systems are secure, maintainable, and scalable
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, and AI teams to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions
• Drive alignment on technical decisions and architectural choices across engineering and product teams
