Job Description
PassiveLogic is seeking a Thermal Systems Digital Twin Engineer to develop models of building and HVAC components for simulation and optimization. This role involves component template development, mathematical modeling, standardization, software development, and contributing to the AI engine. The company is focused on creating affordable and sustainable solutions in the built environment.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
- Hands-on experience with first-principles modeling of thermodynamic, thermo-chemical, or thermo-mechanical devices.
- Experience with object-oriented simulation tools (Modelica, Simscape).
- Strong skills in numerical methods, mathematical modeling, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
