The Assistant Manager, Supply Chain role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational efficiency, and strong communication skills to navigate the complexities of the supply chain. As a Supply Chain Manager focused on New Launch programs, you play a pivotal role in optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure efficient, timely and cost-effective management of components and finished goods.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, within the beauty or personal care industry
- Proficiency with Excel and ERP system, preferably NetSuite
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain strategy development, and vendor management
- Demonstrated ability in managing supplier relationships
- Familiarity with global sourcing and sustainable sourcing practices
- Excellent strategic thinking capabilities to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills
- Proficient in risk management and capacity planning to anticipate and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions
- Strong financial acumen to adhere to budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
