We are seeking a Payments Paralegal to provide legal contract support for PayJunction and ensure compliance with all Card Brand Rules and legal regulations. The role involves drafting, updating, and reviewing agreements, documents, and procedures to ensure compliance, as well as coordinating with internal stakeholders on initiatives such as vendor management and pricing updates.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher in Paralegal Studies or related field (paralegal certificate preferred)
- 3+ years of experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role
- Experience or familiarity with card brand compliance (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) and the payments industry is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of legal documentation, terminology, and contract structures
- Skilled in Google Docs, Microsoft Word (especially redlining/tracked changes), and e-signature platforms
- Experience with knowledge base tools (e.g., Confluence) and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive/confidential materials with integrity and accuracy
