The Trade Sales Consultant is responsible for building the Pella brand within the trade industry, achieving individual sales goals, and providing well-rounded solutions to customers. The role involves outside sales, networking, and lead generation, with a focus on building strong customer relationships and growing sales.
Requirements
- Achieving individual sales and customer satisfaction goals and objectives
- Networking, lead and referral generation
- Representing Pella at company-sponsored events and trade association meetings
- Generating sales by acquiring new customers and building loyalty within existing customer relationships
- Responding to client concerns and applying independent decision making
- Maintaining exceptional levels of expertise on Pella's products and services
- Building strong customer relationships through a consultative sales approach
- Ensuring quotes and orders are accurate following company sales procedure
- Educating customers on manufacturer installation guidelines and measuring of openings
- Collaborating with Operations teams to ensure successful after-sale service requirements and installations
- Interacting with Accounts Receivable department to address billing/payment issues
- Strong CRM systems tools capabilities
- Occasionally working variable, non-traditional hours
- Able to develop partnerships with other businesses that serve the same customers
- Provide superb customer service and generate referrals
- Create a sense of trust and reliability with customers

- Able to negotiate, build value and address objections towards closing a sale
