Job Description
The Department of Informatics and Intelligent Systems at Penn State University is seeking multiple teaching faculty positions in artificial intelligence. The positions will be instrumental in the success of the university's newly launched undergraduate B.S. degree in Artificial Intelligence Methods and Applications. Candidates should have a PhD or master's degree in a related discipline and a commitment to teaching learners at all levels and from all backgrounds.
Requirements
- PhD or master's degree in informatics, information sciences and technology, artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, cognitive science, statistics, or a related discipline
- Evidence of excellence in teaching at the university level
- Commitment to teaching learners at all levels and from all backgrounds
- Ability to teach introductory to advanced courses on topics including AI foundations, automated problem solving, causal modelling, computer vision, and more
